We're All Mad Here
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 10:59PM Every now and then we come up with an idea that we think is absolutly ridiculous and that our clients will never go for, and every time we are mistaken. We have gotten to a place with our work that no matter how crazy a request, no matter how many hours it takes to execute, no matter how far we have to go to make it happen, our brides and grooms are always on board.
Needless to say our interpretation of "Alice in Wonderland" was as far outside the box as we have ever gone for our clients. It started with a one shot idea of a simple tea party and escalated into a full editorial shoot with all the bells and whistles. Luckily we have some really amazing friends who were willing to give of their time and talents to make this shoot come together. We can definatly come up with the concepts but making it all work was going to take a team of people.
The lovely Pascale Lemaire created a tea party table that fell out of Wonderland. Janice Kinigopoulos took our bride Dawn and transformed her into a majestical Alice. Katie Martin created whimsical florals and the lovely Sophie and Katherine from Georgetown Cupcakes provided some tasty table decorations that we had a hard time keeping our paws out of. Kirstin Fox hooked us up with very Alice inspired head pieces. In addition, Pete, Roony, Stephanie, Ben, Miriam and Alexa stormed through the 14 hours, 8 different scenes, crazy lighting set ups, fog, paint, flying cards, rabbits, caterpillars and butterflies to help us create these incredible images.
Finally, Dawn and Will, what really is there to say? Your willingness to go to a place that we have never gone before with a bride and groom, allowed us to create images that are our best to date. You hung on, jumped, stretched, leaned, painted, twilrled, laughed and encouraged us the entire time and you looked like you fell right out of the story, our story, that we created together. Thank you so much for trusting our vision, we love you guys!

this by far is the most creative photo shoots I have ever seen! Dawn- your dress is gorgeous and you have more sophistication than the ficticious Alice...and I might also add Will is an exemplary looking Mad Hatter!
These pictures are so creative; they are really amazing artwork!! Dawn and Will.. I love all of them and you guys look great! I think my fav is the caterpillar and magnifying glass..Will- your hair looks awesome spiked! Dawn- I love the potion pic with the big hair and the fact that you get to model your own dress in these pics- how cool is that!! This looks like it was a blast to create and model!
